This is an area that is often overlooked by an organisation as the benefits are not always fully understood. By developing the intellectual capital within the operations teams this can greatly improve an organisation’s financial performance via better decision making gained from an understanding of the impact that non-finance teams have on the organisation’s performance.
 

We recently delivered a series of training events for a local social enterprise organisation with the principal objective to expand the financial knowledge and understanding of the operations team - from front line service providers through to the senior management team.
 

This genre of training is sometimes deemed a “nice to have” in the development plans of key personnel but we have proven that we can deliver sustainable improvements to an organisation’s performance whether the starting point is to achieve growth or (often more commonly) to mitigate revenue erosion/ incremental costs.
