When it comes to improving banking the ability to transfer cash electronically, pay bills, staff and have instant access to accounts is fabulous.
But now there is work underway to develop another level of assistance. Perhaps I am being sceptical here following the time wasted on telephones trying to predict that I don't actually need to talk to someone. Banks are looking at the technology behind Siri and Alexa with a view to creating their own versions that can answer our questions.
Try asking Alexa a non factual question like "what is a complex question" your reply is "hmmm! I don't know that one"
How many times will the consumer here that in the future?
